The Holiday Inn is an impressive, cleverly designed hotel that's got a pleasingly peaceful, calm atmosphere especially considering that it's so handily placed for Patong resort centre and is just across the road from the beach. The hotel is probably best described as having two concepts in one location: the main wing is built around the large, free-form pool, while the Busakorn wing is smaller, and set apart around its own pool area. The stylish, modern public areas are reflected in the spacious and comfortable bedrooms, while you can also enjoy the relaxed atmosphere from a sunbed in the tropical gardens.

Children are very well catered for – the two children's pools are away from the main pool area beside the playroom, and have slides, waterspouts and water pistols. And for parents there are activities including Thai cookery classes from the hotel's chef or, for a treat, there's a large spa with 13 treatment rooms offering a wide range of massages and therapies, as well as a steam room, sauna and whirlpool baths. The hotel is a great place for all sorts of holidays, as well as simply being a lovely place to find yourself!

This really is the BEST hotel in Phuket. There was nothing that you could fault about this place at all.
