The hotel gardens lead down to one of the longest stretches of beach in the Dominican Republic. Cue miles of seemingly endless white sand and crystal clear waters. And on the beach you'll find lots of sunloungers to stretch out on, shaded by coconut-thatched beach brollies. Heaven. If you don't fancy the short walk to the beach, listen out for the sound of the hotel's very own miniature train and hop aboard. Once you've topped up your tan, join in with some of the activities on offer. From snorkelling to windsurfing, from boules to football, there's so much going on. If you prefer the idea of being pampered though, no problem. Head to the spa and let the bubbles of the whirlpool wash away your cares. Or relax in the Turkish bath and let the soothing mists enfold you. Whatever you decide to do, one thing's for sure, there's no shortage of choice. And that goes for the food, too. One night you're winding spaghetti around your fork at the Italian. The next you're sinking your teeth into a tender piece of steak at the American Grill. But that's just the tip of the iceberg - there are no less than ten a la carte restaurants here. So whether it's crispy duck at the Chinese or tacos at the Mexican, you can eat your way around the world each night. It's the same story when it comes to bars, too.
