An introduction to Pavica Apartment

The Pavica Apartment is set on the first floor of a house in a residential district away from our other properties in Lapad, which are clustered around Zvonimira, but conveniently closer to the harbour at Gruz, from where boat trips to the islands of Lopud, Sipan, Kolocep, Mljet and Korcula can be taken. The apartment has been attractively furnished both inside and out. The floors are smartly tiled, the furniture is comfortable and carefully selected and the kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped. The view from the twin bedroom is of Gruz, while the large decked terrace looks towards pine-covered Petka Hill at the heart of the peninsula, perfect for that late evening drink while watching the sun set over the hills.

The bus stop for services running to the Ploce Gate of the Old Town is 50m away from the apartment, and just a little bit further is a mini-market for all the holiday essentials. For fresh, seasonal fruit and vegetables, the market held at Gruz in the mornings cannot be beaten. With all these amenities on your doorstep, the Pavica Apartments are the perfect base for exploring all that the Dubrovnik Riviera has to offer.

Outside of the Old Town and the area immediately surrounding it, the Lapad Peninsula is our favourite spot for holidays in Dubrovnik. Frequent bus services connect the district to the walled city, while within a short walk there are restaurants, cafes, bars and mini-markets to be found, as well as Lapad's popular pebbly bay. George Bernard Shaw once described Dubrovnik as 'heaven on earth' and many would still agree that this description holds true today. A living metropolis alive with markets, shops, cafes and restaurants lining the narrow well-polished cobbled streets, the Old Town is a marvellous blend of history and modern day living.
