Your villa is close to the entrance to the Castagniccia- the chestnut forests of north east Corsica which were originally planted in the middle ages. Their produce was used by locals to trade for other produce and goods in the 16th and 17th centuries and a revival is now underway as the interest in creating new chestnut products increases.

A mere five drive walk will take you to Moriani Plage, a 50 kilometre stretch of golden sand with a number of restaurants along the beach, serving everything from traditional Corsican cuisine, to fast food and crepes. Bastia town, with its Citadel, is one hour's drive away.
