An introduction to Michelangelo Village Apartments
Like its namesake, the Michelangelo is something of an all-rounder. Whatever it does, it gets it spot on. And it does a lot. In fact – you'd need a spare month or so to get through everything here. So a week or two gives you plenty of scope. If you've come to unwind, you couldn't have picked a better complex as there are four pools to choose from including 2 children's sections in the swimming pools. All sunk into terraces, they're accessorised with sunbeds and parasols. And so you don't have to move far, there's a pool bar for drinks and snacks. Don't worry if sitting still drives you to distraction though there's plenty going on. On the sports side, there's tennis and basketball to name but a few and you'll also find a gym and a sauna on site. As for the apartments themselves, they're bright, spacious and well equipped. Think traditional whitewashed walls and tiled floors with a kitchenette and lounge area and you'll find the same levels of comfort throughout. The roomy restaurant serves up homemade Greek and British dishes and the laid-back bar is home to evening entertainment like Greek Nights and pop quizzes. Add to the mix a supermarket and the fact that Kassiopi harbour is just a ten-minute walk away and the Michelangelo's got holidays made.

Kassiopi is lovely and there really is something for everyone. However we had a problem with our hotel, we asked for a high floor room and were given a ground floor and when we asked the receptionist we were told it was first come first served, but we... more on this review
