The views from the villa towards the mountains are truly stunning and possibly the best vantage point from which to drink these in is the terrace surrounding the swimming pool. Maria Dolores is an ideal holiday retreat for two couples sharing, with the upstairs bedroom having an en-suite shower, while there's a shower room downstairs near the other bedroom.
Completing the house on the ground floor is an open plan living-dining room with well-equipped kitchen area. At the top of the 300m-long access track, there is a restaurant serving traditional Andalucian fare, meaning that a hearty meal can be washed down with more than one glass of wine.
For a change of scene, Frigiliana is just a ten-minute drive away and there is a selection of eateries and local shops should you feel like rustling up some simple tapas in the kitchen, or even on the barbecue, to enjoy on the terrace with just the views over the hillsides for company.
