Before you've set foot inside, this place will slap you with the wow factor. The hotel entrance does not look out of place in this the swankiest of resorts in the Costas. Stone pillars. Bright spotlights. Valet parkers. It's grand to say the least. And the inside's just the same. But this place isn't all looks and no action. Far from it. There's more than enough to keep you amused.
If you like to kick back and take things easy, the pool's your Puerto Banus Mecca. Surrounded by palm trees and plants, it's big enough for a family of swimming Spanish bulls. If you're more of a lounger, however, you'll find plenty of sunbeds and parasols dotted around the edge.
Of course, you can't spend all you time in the sun. So grab your towel and head over to the health and beauty area. Here, you can work out in the gym, or pamper yourself silly in the Turkish bath, sauna or whirlpool bath.
When it comes to entertainment, you've got a couple of choices. For late night drinks and music, head over to Toledo's Bar. Not only can you sip cocktails until the early hours, but you can check out live music every night of the week. Or for something a bit swish, try the local casino, which you can access directly from the hotel. Whether you're a poker demon or a blackjack novice, throw down a few Euros at the hotel's very own slice of Las Vegas.
Of course, there is life outside of Adalucia Plaza. If you fancy doing a bit of exploring, you're only five minutes from the nearest beach. Or a few minutes to the swanky marina that's packed with plenty of shops and bars. And if you're sports fan, you'll find no less than four top notch golf courses.
For a holiday that offers style as well as substance, this place takes some beating.

The majority of bedrooms overlook industrialised roofs and solar panels. These bedrooms are very small and tired looking with no tea or coffee making facilities. The pool area is too small for the number of bedrooms and there are insufficient sunbeds... more on this review
