The Pez Espada was the very first luxury hotel on the Costa Del Sol, opening its doors back in the glamour days of the 50's. A magnet for film stars and royalty, its guest book included the likes of Sean Connery, Sophia Loren and the King Juan Carlos of Spain. Photos of some of the most famous guests line the hotel's aptly named 'Corridor of Fame'. And the most famous guest of them all, Frank Sinatra, even has a bar named after him. We booked this Hotel on recommendation but was very disappointed the food served was tinned vegetables cooked meats that looked like they were from a packet the salads were the best option Frankies Bar is still a smoking zone! we ordered white wine one... more on this review
