All three offer striking strips of black volcanic sand, where you can relax under the warm sun.

When it comes to eating out, there are plenty of tapas bars and harbour-side seafood restaurants. Tuck into dishes like churros de pescado- crispy fishcakes coasted in a salty batter- and sancocho de pescado, which is a slow cooked salty fish with vegetables and potatoes.
