This is a pretty villa which is furnished throughout in a simple style, but will prove very comfortable for a small family or a quartet of good friends. There's a choice of terraces; one of them covered, so if you're not an ardent sun-worshipper, or you prefer to work up your tan gradually, you have the option of lounging in the shade. And, of course, if you really find yourself over-heating, there's your own private pool, twinkling invitingly in the sun.

And when you fancy a change of scene from lazing about beside the pool, you'll find that Villa Parats is within easy reach - just ten minutes by car - of Pollensa old town. Set in some truly spectacular countryside, this medieval town has restaurants, bars, cafes and shops galore, as well as a Roman bridge, gothic chapels and Baroque churches tucked away in its tangled little streets.
