Every bit's designed to ease you into the sleepy Spanish way of life. Even though this villa is semi-detached it is hard to detect. Outside, the sight of towering mountains and lush greenery will put you straight into the holiday mood. Inside, the warm palette of colours massages your eyes, while the comfy, simple furnishing soothes your body.

With stress-free holiday mode in full effect, head out to the pool area. This is where you can really forget about the outside world. As the warm sunshine beats down, you've got two choices – swimming or sunbathing. The pool's a generous size, so there's more than enough room to do a few lengths. However, that may seem like far too much effort – you're on holiday after all. So adjust your sunbed to 'tan' and let your skin show the sun what it was born to do.

If you feel like venturing outside of this homely retreat, there's plenty to see and do. A mere five minute's drive will take you to the restaurants, bars and centre of Pollensa. And if you're a dab hand with a bucket and spade, the beach is only a small chug in the car.

In a nutshell, this place is the anti-venom to the snake bite of city life. But be warned – once you've arrived, you may not want to go home.
