And it's worth popping into Iglesia de San Pedro – a domed church built in Moorish style. Just a few minutes away, you'll come to one of Tenerife's most beautiful beaches, Mesa del Mar, where the sands are reached through a tunnel in the cliffs and there's a natural swimming pool.
